Peter & Consuelo Lockhart

Reception on August 21, 2021 · Indianapolis, IN
Peter & Consuelo were married in August 2020 at a small, private ceremony in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
They are excited to finally be able to celebrate their delayed reception with family and friends at their Indianapolis home near their one-year anniversary on August 21, 2021.
Peter’s Story
Peter grew up in northern Indiana. He moved to Indianapolis to study at the Herron School of Art and Design. After college, he co-founded Foxio, a design and development consultancy that he continues to run today. He also runs two other businesses: Sparrow Sleeps and WeScribe.
Consuelo’s Story
Consuelo was born in Guatemala and was adopted at the age of 3. She grew up in Traverse City, MI. She attended Kendall College of Art and Design where she discovered her love for welding. After moving to Indianapolis, she founded her non-profit, Latinas Welding Guild.
Our Relationship
We met in January 2018. Peter was late to their first date—something Consuelo has yet to let him live down. Timeliness aside, we hit it off immediately, bonding over our love for our creative ventures. During our 2019 trip to South Korea, Peter asked Consuelo to marry him (spoiler: she said yes… and in a shocked moment she also said thank you).
